A refreshingly new and different style in mermaid tops, this customizable corselet is very supportive and has adjustable sizing options.
Corselet outer shell is made from hand painted and stenciled chlorine proof aqualife pbt swimwear fabric, and reinforced with an inner layer of thick and durable polyester knit for body. Interior lining is also made from color coordinating aqualife fabric. Overall, the corselet has a *slight* stretch.
Lace up open sides with enameled metal grommets offer a wide range of size adjustment and are an attractive detail. As time goes on, it is realistic that chlorinated water may eventually wear away at the finish on the metal grommets, however, as this process occurs, the grommets will develop a patina that will blend with the overall natural theme and beauty of the garment.
These adjustable swim tops are a great option for mermaids of all sizes who are looking for something with a bit more modesty and support but still want style and charm.
They come in either amphibious or fish scales pattern, and also several color ranges that will coordinate nicely with many Aquariuz and other tails on the market.
Another nice feature of the Aquariuz corselet swim top is that it can double as day wear. These tops look equally cute paired with jeans for the day, or laced up over a dress or long sleeve shirt for a vest or fantasy look.
Even though this is a supportive corselet bodice with ample coverage, your bra band and cup size will be used to determine your best size, and will be selected at checkout. Please take a few moments to accurately take your bra measurements. US bra manufacturers sometimes use all kinds of wacky sizing systems, but higher quality bra manufacturers, as well as Aquariuz, use the modern, sensible system:
With a soft measuring tape, measure the all around circumference around your rib cage, directly underneath your breasts. This will be your band measurement, in inches.
Then, also measure all the way around the fullest part of your breasts. However many inches difference there is between your band measurement and your bust measurement determines your cup size. So, if theres a 1" difference, then you're an A cup. If theres a two inch difference, then you're a B cup, and so on. Here is the list of inches to cups:
1" - A cup
2" - B cup
3" - C cup
4" - D cup
5" - E (DD) cup
6" - F (DDD) cup
7" - G cup
8" - H cup
If you fall inbetween a number in either of these measurements, just round up to the next whole number.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions on the sizing system, im happy to help!
Unfortunately due to the technical inabilities of website hosting designers, I am unable to add your texture selection of either amphibian or fish scales pattern to checkout options, so I will collect that information from you shortly after your purchase via an email.
As always, I take pride in making quality, functional garments that are designed to fit and perform with an overall balance of craftsmanship, durability, and beauty.
