Part of being a mermaid is being a protector of our waterways, from rivers and creeks, to lakes and oceans, and helping to protect and preserve the animals that live there.
Its nice to know that by purchasing an Aquariuz Mermaid Tail, you are helping to protect our Pacific Coast marine mammals. For every tail purchased, Aquariuz donates 3% of the total cost to the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, Ca., where they care for sick and orphaned seals and release them back in to the wild. The work they do is crucial in monitoring and maintaining a healthy marine mammal population, and i'm very proud that me and my customers can give back and help them in their work.

A water quality issue that comes up a lot, particularly during summer months, is harmful algae blooms. Not all algae are harmful but the blooms that contain blue green algae, or cyanotoxins, can be toxic to humans, pets, and mermaids.
